About S Series Parts

S Series Parts started from a simple problem — I had an idea for something I wanted to make for my own car, but nobody sold it.

It wasn't a discontinued part I could track down or something I could simply order online. If I wanted it, I was going to have to make it.

The first version was designed and the 3D printing was outsourced. From there, I bought my first 3D printer and started developing more parts myself. I had used CAD at school before, but nowhere near the level required to accurately reproduce automotive components, so a lot of the process has involved learning, testing and continually improving.

What started as one idea has grown into a much more capable setup.

Today, S Series Parts uses manufacturing-capable 3D printing, professional 3D scanning and CAD modelling to design, reverse engineer and manufacture replacement and custom automotive components.

The focus is on parts that are discontinued, difficult to find, commonly broken or simply don't exist on the market.

Rather than being limited to reproducing what was originally available, S Series also develops completely custom parts and solutions that are only available through us.

From an Idea to a Finished Part

1

Idea

It starts with a problem, a missing part or something that could be improved.

2

3D Scan & Measurement

Original components can be digitally captured to provide accurate geometry and reference data.

3

CAD Design

The part is reverse engineered, rebuilt or designed from scratch.

4

Prototype & Test

Prototypes are produced and test fitted before the design is refined.

5

Final Production

Once the design is right, the final component is manufactured using a material selected for its intended application.
